Tsafi Danieli PhD, Founding director

Tsafi Danieli

Dr. Tsafi Danieli founded BioGiv Excubator in 2014, and has been its director since 2017. She is also the head of Hebrew University's Protein Expression Core Facility, a biotechnology research and training center specializing in molecular biology and protein production. Dr. Danieli has extensive experience in consulting and collaborating with pharma and biotech companies, development of novel protein production platforms for recombinant proteins, and teaching both international and academic workshops and courses. She holds a PhD in molecular virology from Tel Aviv University in collaboration with the University of California at San-Francisco..

 

Talya Dim, Chief Operating Officer

TALYA

Talya holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and manages BioGiv's ongoing operations, including the interface between the BioGiv companies and the university's infrastructure facilities. Talya has extensive experience in the management of academic and non-academic projects.

 

 

Raisa Shtuhin-Rahav, Social media platforms

Raisa Shtuhin

Raisa is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Cell and Developmental Biology, with experience in diverse molecular and cell biology and cell biology techniques. Raisa is in charge of BioGiv’s website and social media platforms.

Noa Dekel PhD, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) [On Sabbatical]

Noa Dekel

Dr. Noa Dekel manages BioGiv's ongoing operations, including the interface between the BioGiv companies and the university's infrastructure units. She has extensive experience in the production of recombinant proteins, electrophysiology, and molecular biology. Dr. Dekel holds a PhD in Neurobiology from the Hebrew University in collaboration with the University of Chicago. She did her post-doctoral training at the Hebrew University’s Protein Production Facility, developing platforms for production of therapeutic proteins in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies.
